Need to produce a short run of labels in-house? Thermal transfer labels are a great economical choice because they can be printed on an as-needed basis from a desktop thermal transfer printer. Thermal transfer labels are particularly useful for printing serial numbers and bar code labels that will allow for easy inventory tracking. Thermal transfer labels and stickers come as blank labels on rolls. During the printing process, the print head is heated and warms up a black ribbon that transfers a graphic, text or bar code onto the blank label.
